So damn impressive and well done!
Meanwhile, I'm bad at drawing most Pokemon.

Thanks!

heck you only see the final result, be sure there's a buunch of pages featuring Type Null with absurd proportions in my sketchbook, but all it takes is practice prACTice P R A C T I C E
beside I decicded to do a full illustration and not just a creature floating in a white void so that helps too

There's no things, you're bad at, it's only room 4 IMPORVEMENT, REGIONS OF THE ART COUNTRY YOU SHALL CONQUER SOON OR LATER BE BRAVE FELLOW ART WARROIR

No prob.
Yeah. I can only really do things with white voids in them because backgrounds are a pain to figure out.
It's just that nothing I do ever works. I can't handle coping with it.
I often don't see myself as worthy of being up to your and everyone else's standards.
I guess I am an art warrior, but a really bad one.

Ok few tricks:
-you can try to copy other ppl's work it's fine heck even Leonardo or Micheal Angelo used models! (just don't claim it your but I think you're smart enough not to)
-if you copy smthg work with negative spaces: negative spaces are empty spaces surrounded by body elements (like the sort of square on this artwork between the back, the tail, the neck and one of the pointy rusty piece)
making sure the negative spaces are right will help you a lot to figure out if the proportions are right
-break the complex shapes in simple ones, for instance the legs are cylinders and the paws are boxes

learning curves in art are furstrating: you'll improve very fast over short periods and then you'll feel stuck for a while, imporve again etc. etc.

and I KNOW it's hard, but do N O T  compare yourself to others in the 'omg tjeu're so much better than meeee" but think about it like a goal to reach (I mean otherwise I'd be depressed all day with pirahna's artworks qsexrtfyhuiju)
I KNOW IT'S HARD BUT STILL

HANG IN THERE
STAY DETERMINED

I can do most definitely, I'm smart enough to know. lol
I am trying to experiment with shapes and all but I have always done stuff like in a tracing sort of way.
I haven't taken any courses where I could improve my art style, but I really want to.
I believe that statement, 100%.
Yeah, it's just SO hard to deal with. OK.
I mean, I am always depressed with everything so yeah.
Alright.
DETERMINATION lol
But I will definitely try.
