Description
That is an extinct lemur. It was larger than I am!As modern large lemur, it had a short tail and was active by day (unlike the little lemurs who are active by night, such as Sacha Baron Cohen, etc.).
It was on the Natural History Museum. That was a beautiful building! It had all this dead animals inside (some, like this one, were just skeletons of course - the extinct ones. Others, unfortunattely were stuffed animals that may have been killed on purpose), and the building itself was full of animals looking at us from the columns and the ceiling, and plants of stone all over. I hope I go back there.

I've put this under the category of "Still Life". I guess that's what it is. Minus the "Life" part. But it was pretty still. I bet it hadn't moved since we left.

(Just to further consideration, I had to go to a huge Wikipedia search to make this commentary, to see what was the English word for "empalhado" ("stuffed"). Apparently it's called taxidermy ([link] ).
