I'm not sure this is a kindness to the fish, even though it makes a strong photo. Β What happened after the image was taken?

If you could put into words every second of a life
i feel like i could keep living
just to spread words everywhere
When i set off am no longer here
i may not be able to put it to words
but what can keep you smiling
Is this song (answer) of ours.
That what's in my brain when i'm seeing this.Β

Don't, it's bad for the environment. If you introduce an invasive species into the ecosystem, they could destroy it. Putting them in a man-made pond (for fish purposes) in your backyard is fine

Actually goldfish would die pretty quickly. They are freshwater fish. So they'd just become a snack for the native species.Β

I obviously meant people putting full size 12" carp into a river/pond, not the ocean. Obviously you'd need to dump a large genetic variable of individuals for it to turn into a truly invasive species, but it's still not good for the environment. It's the same with people flushing their recently deceased down the toilet, sewage systems have a hard time with it.

You 'obviously' meant large carp in a river and pond when responding to someone speaking about goldfish in the ocean. In any case this is a very old response, so I bid you farewell, I hope you have a nice day. Β

this would be so poetic if they weren't fresh water fish
and that wasn't salt water

Since the category is digital overlay, I would assume that it's two or more photos that have been combined. Besides, you probably should be able to see the waves though the water inside the bottle if it was only one real photograph.

What a strange, thought-provoking and original concept for a picture. Just outside of their own little world lies two others: the dry land, vast and (for them) unknowable, and the ocean, home of multitudes of their brethren--equally vast and because of the salinity, also forbidden to them. If their water spills or the tide comes in they are doomed, but for now they have a safe little home with a beautiful view.
Great work, foureyes.
