Description This was fun. Coloring Andrew Wildman's pencils/ Stephen Baskerville's inks featuring Powermaster Optimus Prime and Scorponok taking on several Unicron cultists, was a good exercise in making a cover lavish. 80's/early 90's colorists at Marvel had limits I guess, so I always felt that if I had a chance to go back and re-color EVERY Marvel Transformer book for a job, I would. For FREE.

I found the black & white artwork online before ever seeing the color one, and only looked at it after I was nearing completion.

Optimus and Scorponok fighting side by side makes this cover so fantastic!

That look really fantastic. Those older covers really do look old by the coloring alone. I have always liked this cover and this really updates it!

Dis is wonderful. The coloring is superb, as is the shading and light, and, of course, it's got a bunch of brainwashed uniform-wearing robots that have the exact same expression.
Pfft. Their weapons are forks.
