Description
An oldish piece this. Impactor was one of my favourite 'comic only' characters back in the day (I'm a sucker for a heroic death and this guy managed to pull it off twiceRelated content

He's got his own completely original figure out now. Only real faults are the hollow legs, but there are things to remedy that on Ebay.
There's also a remold of him in a 3-pack as his original Decepticon incarnation too.
Now we need Xaaron and Rack & Ruin

Indeed he has, though I prefer the third-party figure of him that graces my shelf - nice to finally have him available to a wider audience.

You ought to get one anyway, just for the sheer amount of weapons you can mount on him.
Ive given mine a mace from RiD 2015 Legends class Sideswipe and two pistols from Energon Cruellock. THey match his yellow.
Also discovered G1 Stunticon cannons work in Siege

I'm glad there are some really talented people on this website who remember Impactor. He's obscure, he died in the first story he was in...and he was awesome.
My only complaint is that the picture's a little small. But hey, it's still Impactor getting the shiny & detailed treatment, and the vehicle mode is damn cool.

Always loved Impactor. I still remember being shocked all to hell when he appeared as a zombie that first time.

Should probably comment on him, seeing as it was you who made him my favourite comic-born character.
I wish he was still in the comics. -_-

He is - his scattered radioactive atoms drift by in the breeze on Cybertron all the time!

As for his two deaths...
Impactor first died taking a shot intended for his leader, Emirate Xaaron, at the end of the story & #8220;Target: 2006”. A couple of years later a rogue Autobot scientist called Flame attempted to reactivate the nuclear reactors originally built by Megatron to turn Cybertron into a mobile war world. To protect himself, the scientist had raised a legion of transformer corpses controlled by his computer. As a shock twist in the tale, Impactor was one of the zombies. His memories are eventually restored during a fight with Springer, the Autobot he named as his successor. Towards the end of this story the reactor goes into a meltdown which will destroy Cybertron and can only be deactivated by someone actually entering the reaction chamber. Xaaron volunteers for the task and the other Autobots leave. Just as Xaaron prepares to enter he is attacked by Flame but is saved when Impactor appears and harpoons the scientist through the head. Impactor tells Xaaron to leave and enters the reactor himself - successfully shutting it down but being destroyed in the process. The story ends with Xaaron encouraging everyone to “give thanks to the Autobot who died twice so that Cybertron could live.”

^_^
I have absolutely no clue who he is.
But, very nice drawing.
How did he manage to pull off a heroic death twice? Was the first one a fake?
