Christopher Lee was one of the greatest and most successful movie stars. He appeared in over two hundred films, but his most famous roles include Count Dracula in a series of horror films made by Hammer Studios; along with iconic roles such as James Bond villain Scaramanga, the Man With the Golden Gun, as well as Count Dooku from Star Wars Episodes II and III, and the evil wizard Saruman from the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Hobbit prequel films. He had a voice that was distinguishable for a deep, commanding tone that was both frightening and attractive. He was an inspiration for so many people.

This is so much more effective in color, and the original was already very powerful. It's truly a shame that Christopher Lee had to pass away.

I actually had no idea Christopher Lee recently passed away.
Usually there's a big talk of certain people's passings. But Christopher Lee...Count Dracula, Count Dooku and Saruman the White not even mentioned? For shame!!
I can feel both Kei and Lady M's mourning for his loss. His was truly one of the most awesome depictions of Dracula; even if he never wanted to be type-casted in that role all his life.
Might I also add how dreadfully sorry I am for not noticing this sooner? Only now have I been going through my overabundance of messages. But it is a lovely parting peace to our great Christopher Lee indeed.
All of Petsylvania mourns for him as well.
