I want to simply explain the stars. The reason I gave you low on vision, originality and technique is because this is somebody else's vision, and Archie's technique. You only colored this.
However, even with low stars rating on those three, that does not by any means indicate that this picture is bad. In fact, this is an excellent picture. The very reason I gave you 4 stars on impact. a.deviantart.net/avatars/i/l/iā¦ " alt=" " title="IloveItplz"/>
Now to actually start my critique, I must say it is an eye-opener for me, and even a refresher course for something I never got to experience. You have certainly created an artistic feel with this picture, and influenced a strong artistic opinion. I almost feel like this picture is an experience.
For the coloring itself, obviously a very "high definition", so to speak, recreation of Archie's past shading style. You have done an excellent job shading and lighting this scene. Very detailed coloring, and such high attention to the background, yet your color choice manages to push the background aside and highlight the cuteness of Sally and Bunnie. I am impressed by your choice in colors and shades.
I can't really see anything wrong with the coloring. In fact, you have recreated the style of past Archie comics, but in higher quality, which is rather amazing.
I am very impressed by your work. ^^ Overall, an excellent picture.

A sort of exercise for myself and a gratification for the girl who made the lineart, to see her work colored ^^

I'd have to agree. Even though I wasn't born when the Sonic comics started going around, I remember when comics were just endless amounts of high-stakes action and tongue-in cheek fun unlike nowadays where it's a law that all characters have to die, curse, get killed off and all that jazz.

It's a lovely image of the characters. Though I personally find the early Sally a bit hard to draw. Mainly the eyes. (for me) No offense. And Bunnie looks really cute and look folks. They're nude,but their still in their fur. But they keep those "parts" off.

Very nice coloring job, you did a good job on their work.
To be fair, the Sonic comic still has it's humorous moments, (alongside the serious moments) and nobody's really died recently in the comic. (Why do people keep saying somebody died when they didn't?) So far all the "tragedies" in the current events of the comic can still be fixed.
