I'm so sorry I disappeared. School came up and I just had absolutely zero motivation. So, I'm making it up to you by sharing one of the many AUs I've come up with.

In Audiotale (still workshoping the name), Asgore's sanity and desperation to get out of the underground has taken a turn for the worse. Since no one really knows that much about skeleton monsters, he assigned Alphys with the job of finding out just how they work and why they seemingly don't have Souls. During this, Alphys' sanity also took a dark turn and started doing tests on them that weren't assigned by Asgore. She somehow managed to fuse the two in a way that gave them extra abilities like flight and two pairs of arms.
