I'm saving it as a JPEG...and it was really small to begin with, I don't know why the scanner made it so big...so yeah, the combination of those two reasons is probably why it's like that...xP

Hmm. Was it scanned into Photoshop (if the scanner's connected to the computer there should be an option like file > import > scanner name)? With a lot of programs (not Photoshop, though) it gets really grainy if you save it as a JPEG.

No, it was scanned into like HP Photosmart or something like that...*shrugs* Next time, I'll just save it as something besides JPEG. :3

I think PNG's tend to work better at preserving quality, if possible. Or, if you scan in at a higher DPI and resize the picture, that could work, too. C:
Scanners scare me, personally, so I don't really know much about them. I dun like the noises they make~ XD
