One day I want to make a sonic-based RP group like those ones where you fill in the character sheet and do challenges set by the group and stuff in the RP world but I need to ease into posting normal art first ^.^

Yeah I have, I've been roleplaying for about 10 years haha but I haven't done it in a long time cause I stoped playing the social mmo I used to rp in.
I prefer full-paragraph descriptive rps (not exclusively though) and those are rare too but that's what happens when you let an English Literature student rp. ^///^

I assuming it means something like everything needs to be a full paragraph and must have a description of what the character is doing at that moment even if it's just fidgeting around in a chair while they talk. but I don't actually know! o3o

Oh it's an old term used on the mmo I used to play - basically you had "para", "semi-para", and "no-para" rps.
Para was full paragraph so basically you had to have at least 12 lines or so of text, with semi-para only having about 6 lines and no-para being 1 or 2 lines.
Descriptive meant that the scenery and world could be described in the rp, and non-desc meant that you only had to focus on the two characters interacting, you didn't need to 'set the scene' as it were.
Cause of how long I played that game, I generally use those terms when talking about rps still haha. ^.^
A lot of people had preferences so in your characters description you could put "para-desc rps" so everyone knew, for example.

Oh okay I get it! I fall more under the Semi to no para and semi Descriptive.....but seriously needing to put 12 lines in everything you say is kind of over the top I mean in this bad not very well made scene that I came up with on the spot. Imagine Jack walks into a coffee shop and it's like
Jack: He walked into the store with a bit of a yawn and walked up to one of the registers. "Hey can I get strong coffee please?" he said to the cashier while he flipped a coin in his hand. (I can't even make twelve lines in one thing with out making it seem pointless stuff unless there is a lot happening. XD) my point is 12 lines every time is kind of crazy! o3o

For some people like me it's completely natural. I usually go well over twelve lines haha but then I do a lot of story writing and such so it's in my nature.
Some people it was a requirement but usually it was however the conversation was going, if there was a lull in the story or there was conversation, the rp would naturally fall to 3-4 lines, but then ramp back up again once the action started.
I never minded too much, I just tend to write and see how much comes up haha.

Agreed. I kinda like that more to be honest. But not quite as there are times when it's worth having more lines like when talking about action and such. Like when I tend to get into fighting scenes I'll tend to use much more lines and be a little more descriptive.
