God, I can remember how Hannah (my old English Springer, rest her soul) used to shove her face in the snow after mice. She'd come in from the snow and not only look like Ron does, but her curly ear-fur would have these little snowballs built up on them. You didn't want to stand next to her when he tried to shake them off - they hurt!
