You really need your own house for this pro level of pet! And a large outdoor kennel with fence over top and bottom...it is a major investment to prepare for.

No. Actually since it is an exotic pet, it would be a state crime, a misdemeanor, to release him into the wild! Anyway, he will live a much longer and healthier, hopefully even happier, life in my care than struggling for survival.
A pet fox is a life-long relationship, the fox living 10-15 (much longer than their average lifespan of about 3 years in the wild)! He soon will have a large (500 sq ft outside! in comparison, my entire house is only 600 sq ft!!!) outdoor kennel to give him much more room to run around without a leash!

I bought him as a kit from a special breeder... it was a long awaited dream come true, and every day is an adventure, a chance to marvel at his intelligent design!
