Description
So who else will admit to Googling Jasper, NV to figure out where the Autobots are?1) Jasper Mine, Nevada off HWY 95
a. IRL this mine could well be a rare and rich source of the semi precious stone jasper. The current owners are attempting to fill a never before tried market. Jasper tile and countertops. This could easily be a profitable business venture as jasper is harder than granite and a lot prettier. But there has never been a source rich enough and easy enough to mine to make it profitable. In the Prime universe the town of Jasper looks a lot like a south west mining town.
b. Theory; in an alternate reality the mine was developed decades ago. Probably in the mid 1800 after the US civil war ended and settlers and investors heads west. The town of Jasper grew up around it and survived, unlike many other mining towns. Today the mine is struggling in the faltering economy, thus Jack’s McJob, and Jasper is slowly becoming a ghost town, egro almost no other cars on its streets.
c. By carefully studying the episodes and Google Sat. I’ve concluded that from the angle of the light and the topography around the location, the Autobot base is most likely to the south of Jasper, close enough that a biker ride there wouldn’t be too tiring for a beginning rider but far enough away not to attract attention from the local sheriff.
2) Nevada Test Site along the Veterans Memorial HWY
a. Some not so top secret gov nuclear test site in Nevada.
b. Home of the JASPER gas gun.
c. Lots of official science goobeldogok about it online.
d. Cover Story Much?
So, I have a pickup, who’s up for a road trip?
(apologies to DA friends who are across the pond

It is amazing. But can you tell me how to find this on google earth or google maps (online)? Also, if you have time, can you go there and make a video?

Google Luning, NV 89420. Just North of Luning (which is NOT a ghost town), NV Hwy 95 "Veteran's Memorial Hwy" and Hwy 131 meet. Follow 131 north across the whitish saltflats and over the first range of mountains. There will be a broad valley. Turn SE (right) into the middle of the valley on an (in this universe anyway) unnamed dirt road. Follow this road approximately four miles and then turn left again. (Again in this universe) this will lead you to the flat developable area where Jasper, NV should have been developed. A road leads south out of the area to a place that looks remarkably like where the Autobot base should be.
While it is physically possible for me to go there, alas time and money prevent it.

Well, unfortunately I had to move even further away from Nevada so there is little chance I can get there any time soon.
This is a big Continent.

I live in Hungary. It would take a bit long to get there. I hope Team Prime really hides there.

I did as soon as I discovered the series. Funny thing is there might actually be a Jasper, Nevada in a few years if the mine takes off.
