Yes, I used an actual paper back. I have a whole bunch of them I specifically saved to make more when I have time someday. The inside is supported with cardboard and upholstery foam. :3 Unlike a fursuit head, it doesn't really need a fan on the inside, because the goggle area has a lot of air coming through it, as well as the bottom.
