over all i really like this picture! and i think the sword effect is done well. something like that is very difficult to do.

mist is hard to draw, especially if the target is standing still. to me a moving target is always easier to draw something like that.
I'm not sure if the same will go for you though.

I know. Because of that, most of my techniques are based on solid ice. I'll try one of those next time.
