I didn't notice any smudging. But, I know what you're talking about. I started using a very soft cloth to rest my hand on while manipulating the pencil. It's helped reduce the amount of smudging considerably.

Thanks! I tried to keep the posture a realistic sort of way, I'm still working on my anatomy espiecally for foxes but I'm happy how this turned out
