Description
This took about two and a half hours to make, and it was made in Gimp.

Alright, so I didn't even mean to do this. This is not what I was initially drawing when I began this piece. I was drawing some kind of white fluffy cat, which certainly did not have fur or anything, but I did use the new eye drawing technique I learned on it. I accidentally chose a bristle brush to do some shading on the white cat, only to realize it looked more like fur. So, I started drawing fur. I began creating a fox using that, and when I got to the tail, I realized the fur started to look kind of like trees. Then I decided to go with the tail turning into trees. When I got the concept down, I started playing around with several different brush shapes and colors, and I'm not completely certain how I ended up with this. I meant to put rock-like colors under the fox's feet, for example - but they weren't supposed to turn into actual rocks. Furthermore, the pond surrounding the rock was an accident after I was experimenting with some blue color and the oil brush shape. Most of this just took shape as I went along, and I'm very pleased with the result.
