That's beautiful! The colors look so brilliant; reminds me of something out of a children's storybook.

now I have Fox in the Snow by Belle and Sebastian stuck in my head

Fox in the snow, where do you go
To find something you could eat
Cause word out on the street is you are starving
Donβt let yourself go hungry now
Donβt let yourself grow cold

Basically I did a lighter colored wash to fill in the foxes' bodies and then used a pointed brush with very wet paint to form triangular lines to indicate the fur; fur clumps together when its wet and lays in sections apposed to single, loose hairs. I then went over the previous layers with a very fine detail brush to pick out highlights and add in darker pieces.
Hope that answers your question!
