I love this, I really do. The more I look into that little guy's eye the more it makes me smile, there's such life behind it, the perspective and the little expression on his face, almost as though he were smiling at us. And so much detail too for such a small area, I think it's just wonderful ^_^

Hey, that's smaller than mine! Great job! Have you seen the 1" x 1/2" canvases? They're stupid neat!

I don't think I've ever seen a canvas that small, that would be really cool. I've seen 6"x6" but I think that's the smallest. Though I usually just work on illo board because otherwise I tend to fight the texture.

Yaay otters! There needs to be lots more boar and otter arts.

Love the expression and fur texture. It looks like a rather wettish river otter! I loove otter whiskers.

ohh yes, watercolours frustrate me as well! I usually just water down my acrylics.

Well detailed, It looks like you've used watercolours as well! I find it very difficult to create such details with watercolours! Nicely done!

Thank you!
It's actually all acrylic. I like watercolors, but they frustrate me a lot because I tend to go over areas, which makes a mess out of them.

He reminds me of the ones I used to watch at the lakes near where we lived when I was a kid. Good work.

How pretty! The work on the fur is so elaborate for such a small piece, and the eyes is beautiful as well.
