I really like how Disney added a little Greek mythology into The Little Mermaid and I am a HUGE fan of Greek mythology. Athena is my favorite of the goddess and Poseidon is my favorite of the gods.

lol..I saw the movie and thought that she really did look like Ariel too, but she has more mature features and her hair is more orange than her daughters and I think her eyes are green

Yeah, I noticed too. Her hair was more of a auburn that a bright red, but I still think she is a spitting image of Ariel ^^
