Description
Hey all! I found this fantastic old wooden wall plaque showing a charming elephant scene all carved so beautifully. The wood was faded to grey with time, and even the elephants looked a bit disgruntled. But, for $5.00 - I knew exactly what I was going to do! I stopped off at the craft store to add a few colors to my paint supply, and to get a few new fine tipped brushes. Then I went to work. I spent a wonderful afternoon painting these lovely elephants as if they were preparing to take part in a parade in India somewhere! Such fun, and I think they all look a little happier for it!Related content

I've done a lot of restoration of discarded knickknacks and furniture and this just forced a Fav.

My only question are they Indian or African elephants? They look beautiful.

Sure is, I've done woodworking and doll making and always go looking for that clearance item that's broken so I can get it cheap and let it tell me what it wants to be. Love it!!!
