British magpies do have blue as well but it's a blue shine when it hits the light correctly. I have put a blue tint on Christian but couldn't quite make it work the way real magpie feathers are

Yeah I'll probably try that when I do colour pictures of him with lighting. The refs are in flats so I can select colours quickly and so can other artists if I commission them

Well, I can see, that he's very energic and happy and that's also the personality of my OC/persona. Recently, I had some envy problems, but I'll do my best to deal with it. I'll all explain it into a journal.
I intend to first do an overall sheet of facial expressions of my OC and then practise some poses, because I'm not very good at poses yet, and some backgrounds. Btw. what comic are you writing?

It's current title is Demon Tail but it may change to Therian Tail. It's a rewrite of a webcomic I did a couple of years ago. It went on hiatus when I had to start my other comic, Bubblegum and Marzipan, for university. I didn't have the time to do both and my degree had to take priority.Β When I left uni it made more sense to finish off Bubble and Marzi first, as it was the shorter story and all the pages were sketched, some were inked.Β

I really like Christian!
It makes me sad to see that he has to wear a weight and that he has burn marks on his feet!
But despite all this he still seems to be very happy and that makes me happy as well!
