Hey guys!Here's a video of my latex Predator costume, created by Scott Marshall, an awesome Canadian FX artist!
This is only part of the whole thing, I am still waiting on the hands, feet, neckring, backpack, cannon, bio and bone tropies.
I'm tall enough (6 ft 3) just a little on the skinny side, so I'll need to fill the arms and legs out some more with foam. Will wear the whole thing in my next video!

Hey man...what would u suggest in making one of these with just a month to go? Β It won't be as extensive as yours and I am making it on my own. Β I plan to use a motorcycle helmet with modeling clay and fiberglass for the head piece, but what's the deal with the dreds? Β I have dreds and could use my own but want to know where to get the material for them. Β Also...what color latex was used? Β Any info would be helpful.

Hey dude.
The dreds were made of foam, and the outside was covered with a thin layer of latex (mixed with black acrylic/latex paint). The original latex color was white.

The costume kicks major ass!! Now you just need to get the feel of the predator's movements, if only to be more in character. He has a kind of awesome calculated grace in his movements. If you can, study some of the "behind the scenes" footage of Kevin Peter Hall as the predator, like this one: [link] he was and always will be the best predator performer out there.
