Description
READ THE FULL TERMS OF USE BEFORE USING THIS BASE! (In particular: NO making him female!)Squeee, my Sheik base is finally finished ^.^ Weeell... not exactly, since I was going to include his SSBM/concept art hairstyle as well as his in-game one (I dunno why he looked so different in the polygons, but I liked it better!), but close enough. Rules for use are on the base ^^ Enjoy!
Incidentally, I'm planning to make a full-fledged doll on this base, for the KiSS Theme Challenge (since they have "games" as the theme this time around ^^). I just hope I can finish in time. And, as I promised in my journal entry, he will totally have Kafei cosplay options, including 'Shadow of the Ages' Sheikah-Kafei ^^
Oh yeah, and if you were going to bitch at me about Sheik's gender, don't. The last time I posted this it was inundated with mindless dumbass "SHEIK IS A GIRL" comments, and I'm fucking sick of it. KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! I'm happy to let you think whatever you like about Sheik's giblets, so have the god damned courtesy to do the same!

Here's some real proof then. AS quoted by board user "The Real Link" on a thread viewable here, [link] he says that:

I feel that his or her argument was a fairly reasonable or legitimate reason as to why Sheik is a girl. Need more info? Google "Sheik Zelda" on there and chekc out the millions of sites that pop up. Plus, in SSBB, she is set as female alter ego of Zelda (She has breasts), and although in certain versions of LoZ, she was portayed as a man, I believe that the creators have rethought their gender portayal of Sheik and come to the conclusion that simply, Sheik being a woman is better than a man.
So, to sumarize all that I have just said......
Sheik is a girl.

The opinion of some board poster with no authority on the subject, from some forum with no authority on the subject, proves absolutely nothing. You're just quoting somebody else's opinion, which is no different to stating your own.

In particular, that is the worst "proof" ever. It's pure opinion, and completely vague at that! I could say "it's right on so many levels" and that would be every bit as much "proof" as "The Real Link" running his/her mouth (seriously - why would you even listen to somebody who calls themselves "The Real Link" anyway?).
Nor does your appeal to the masses prove anything. I could also Google up a million sites that say aliens are real - not proof.

This, however, actually has some merit. SSBB Sheik is depicted as physically female just as obviously as OoT Sheik is depicted as physically male, so your assumption about the creators' stance changing is probably correct. On the other hand, the character in OoT is still clearly male, so getting uppity at people who draw him as such is still out of line. And, moreover...
I never said "you can't think Sheik is a female". I just asked you to have the courtesy not to start arguing about it in my gallery!

Possibly, I guess. A real definition of "cross dresser" doesn't include changing genders - probably because it's essentially a permannent choice IRL, so people don't do it unless they're transgendered rather than just transvestite - so you can interpret it however you want, really.
