So yeah, I've spent my Xmass/New Years cursing/snickering/fighting with/cackling madly/explaining to parents about this the last part was kind of awkward

Thank you, that is exactly what I've been going for with this picture. I wanted to draw them taking a break from saving the universe (for once) and just chilling.

Awww ... and they were so unbelievably cute together.
Many fans seem to picture them heavily 'at it' but surely, there'd be many happy times when they'd just rest together, watch a movie and snack on some popcorns (or the turian equivalent)?
Lol, I know, right ... it's pretty easy to tell when they're relaxed or aggressive, with Garrus you just look at his eyes really, but it's nigh impossible to tell when they're smiling.

It's a lovely and beautiful piece! And I like a lot the pencil texture.
And look how comfortable seem the two of them. Sigh, I must as for a Turian pillow like that for next Christmas! And his hand near her... umm... rear... nasty Garrus!
Also, great detail changing both their clothes. It feels like some time has passed and they are relaxing in their quarters, enjoying a good film.

Oh! I hknow the feeling: once is here, is finished no matter what! You can still experiment with the pencils and water in your next pic... And why you are not happy? It' alovelye piece! You even drew a Turian and a Quarian in the film scene (mmm... the Turian has the same fringe as Saren or am I seeing things?). The detail of both their cups of wine (?) in Garrus side of the bed, which makes me think that Shepard would have to lay on him to get her cup. I like how you think!
I'm not lost but... how you modify the size of the letters? Ok, you can laugh... I'm a noob with technology... You should see the mess I created when I installed my new Wacom.
Sure miss, and Shepard has flexibility ^^

I'm not going to say that I don't understand you because I've had that feeling many time towards my own work. But, I always keep this in mind: if I don't do it and give my best, even if the results are not the expected, it's the only way to improve, because if I just stare at the paper and the pencil, it won't create the Mona Lisa by itself!
Uh- no, I think I've never taken a class on computers. I managed to put my hands on a computer when I was 19 (verrrry old, believe me). The story is kind of funny, I'll explain it if you're curious
