This is for my very good friend !
He's a really cool guy who does the SWEETEST fanart of Hey Arnold, Powerpuff girls and others. I really admire his art because I've taken a recent liking to the female anatomy when experencing pregnancy and he does it simply and beautifully.
Also, an announcement. I might be doing more art like this because well, ever since I hit 17 my maternal clock decided to come out of snooze mode and ring it's bells loud and clear. That's right. My once paranoia of pregnant women has vanished and I'm sayin' I can't wait to be a mom myself. I mean, I can wait but, I can't...wait...what..

EDIT: Okay so, I redid it and forgive me for that blasted table. IGNORE the table. I added another element that I think Marcos might enjoy- spending time with her class! It's show and tell and Ms. Olga is always a main event ^^

I only have one kid right now, she's going to be seven years old in about two months. We hope to have one or two more someday.

I'm so glad! I had a heck of a time with them, let me tell yeh.
I thought some kid interaction would be sweet for her as a teacher and all. I tried to draw her with her husband but...who her husband is I'm not sure! For me to create someone seems too imposing..I mean, I could but....ergh *rubs back of head* oh well. Glad you love it!

Just for an instance, it could be drawn as she was taking a nap( actually like she just would fell asleep, but quite unavertedly - maybe she was so tired or anything ), resting her head, with her glasses cranky over her face over his lap( though heΒ΄s not appearing full-body, neither his face is shown )...
So, that could be that "cuddly" caring couple suggestion for a scene I proposed to you, at the same time you wouldnΒ΄t need to "decide" immediatly who would be her actual husband - either if an actual character( like Mr. Simmons )or any fanbased character you decided to create - so, that could be quite a "maturing an idea" proposal for a pic, where you could still decide who her husband could be, at the same time you still could present a loving married couple themed picture still^^
( Also hey - not Arnold! - "nap" and "lap" rhymed! IΒ΄m so impossibly wordy today... XD )

Look, arenΒ΄t they both childrenΒ΄s teachers? Both are kind, nice people( though some things that can be silly, but WHO doesnΒ΄t do silly things at all? ), too.
So I can guess that they have so many things on common, just for start - they even worked together for while in that "Student teacher" episode - also, since Olga is into artistic things( her actin classes, playing piano, et al ), as much Mr. Simmons is akin to poetry and Literature( if I remember well, the episode when she was introduced to the series ended up with the kids performing a jam session ); so there could also be something to start; slowly maybe, but somewhere from where to do it is.
But I also wish that you could chose for yourself, foremost I presented some arguments pro this pairing; thru to be said,I even maybe can take a completely different path than yours
Actually, one of the advanteges of fanfictioanl stuff is that one can practice either the drawing and writing skill, thru "getting the feeling" of a favorite show - even, by creating a character to be introduced on it, either giving to an actual character a different depth, maybe an untold backstory.
ItΒ΄s an author( well, fan authors ARE also as authors as the professional ones )Β΄s choice; enjoy it, wahtever it wold be^^

I love her face and hair! very cute. I think what throws me off is how you drew her shirt. The fact that it is split light and dark like it is makes it look like she is wearing a corset or something which you would not normally do when preggers. I think she needs a bit more of a bum too It kindof looks like she is sliding off the stool. I love all your art with pregnate women, animal or human it all looks so great and you do a great job capturing the mothers love. I like the chang in style to, it is a bit different for you but it looks great. Keep up the wonderful work

I think it may be the slant of the table/counter that does it. It looks like the room's sorta at an odd angle or the table is sinking a bit on the other side. The woman's legs also look a bit flatter than the rest of the image.

The easiest way to do perspective is the whole horizon point thing with at least boxy objects. You may want to try that.

Well, wouldn't hurt if her husband( though I am aware that we man at the kitchen are messy - well... not every one of us( the clumsy men )nor that much, but you know what I mean - so, if her husband gave a hand, ain't it? Like, a cuddling scene; I bet the man sheΕ married with is a very kind one...
( There's a loving wedding theme that you could deal either cute/darling as funny - you already done SO heartwarming scenes on your characters, so, if eventually cold you wish to take a try on this )

As for the drawing critique, maybe you think something is wrong with it because of the fact that your table seems to be slanted.
Your anatomy is good, but since she is sitting on a chair, perhaps you should put her knees a bit higher up, although she does seem to be on the edge of her seat so that's okay. One last thing I recommend is bend the chest and shoulders area over her belly a little bit, because it looks like her left shoulder is straining a bit. Little technicalities, though! It's great in general, and really cute to boot! ^^ Great job! ^^

Very good point! She does look a bit strained, but that could be because she's tired and wants to curl up and take a nap. I will take that advice for future drawings though- to be honest, I never go back to old drawings and redo them because I am a BIG lazy bum. But I do keep all critique for furture reference! It's funny; I had the same experience. I didn't want to be a mom for ANYTHING until...um, like a year ago. Now I'm like, "OMGOSH, can't wait!" ahha No, I definitely CAN wait but it's gonna be fun when I'm a mom.
