Beautiful pencil work. The chaps and the woman bring me back to when I had my quarter horse and went barrel racing. I don't know why, but the picture has a sentimental value to it that really transcends just a picture. It is beautiful, the woman is free spirited and independent with a tom boy edge- which relates to myself. Amazing picture. I truly adore it. Thank you for making such a gorgeous picture.

This is great, very detailed and beautiful. This looks really realistic in the way that you can visibly see the texture of the fabrics. Great idea to have her in the foreground and the images in the background. This is fantastic work. And congratulations on the DD.

You have some serious art skills ...not just with a pencil either. The composition, subject matter and overall attention to the varying contrasts and details works really well.I love the use of the negative space to effectively frame the figure in the foreground and the photo in the background. Kudos to your model too. Cowgirls..they are as different a breed as cowboys. I wonder though what this would have looked like in a sepia tone ? Just at thought that had crossed my mind .
