Description
(Download for desktop size.)Anubis, Egyptian god of Being Awesome. Of all the anthro characters throughout history (and I'd say the Egyptians were the best at it), Anubis captures the imagination like no other. It's the pointed nose, and the contrast between jackal-black skin/fur and the bright colours associated with Egyptian wear. This is a picture I've wanted to draw for ages, and had to when I found the stock [link] .
I took a lot of reference from other drawings of the god. I like this one. Head feels really imposing.
