It's finally here!!!

Don't understand how you can make such clear separations between the color nuances.

When I try to do something with watercolors the color spreads out as soon as i put the paintbrush on the paper.

Like that you don't use the fineliner everwhere the same like on the belly and it's mouth.

Yep!
Well, the color spreads when the paper is wet, by letting it dry regularly I can add layer upon layer upon layer with clear separation between the color nuances.
I hope that made sense! I wish I could show you!

Hahaha, yeah I think I know what you mean.

Just don't think I'd have enough patience for art like this.

Also I change my mind everytime I sit on a drawing.

It happens litterally every time that I change something.

I know what you mean! Even with dozens of compositional pre-sketches I'll still continuously change my mind.
I think you do have the patience! All those feathers on your WIP of the pegasus was astounding!
Speaking of pegasus, next watercolor is

Hahaha Thanks.

Just a warning. Those are not all the feathers it has.

Half of the body is covered with little white feathers.

That's why I have so long on it and work only a few houres on it every week.

Whell then I'm especially exited to see it.

What kind of horse will you try out?

And more of a portrait or a fullbody?

Fullbody The sketch is ready to go but I think I'll prepare another sketch before working on the horse. I like working on 2 at once so that I can continue painting while the other dries a little.
Can't wait to see it! So much work you've put into it!

Then you could try the lion fish.

That will probably be a complicated one.
