Man, Papyrus is the best. I'm really sad that your Frisk is blind, but it helps us understand why they would even start a genocide run in the first place. In attempting to find their way through the ruins, they ran into all those monsters and since they only knew how Flowey treated them they fought back in self-defense until they made their way through to Toriel and thought they had to do whatever it takes to survive thanks to her challenge. Then they made it out into Snowdin Forest only able to go off what they hear, but no monster even knowing that they're blind and numb after killing the monsters in the ruins. Frisk only knew to fight the monsters to survive and it took Papyrus still wanting to help Frisk to get them to snap out of their funk long enough to reset and go down a pacifist path.
This is gonna get kinda dark in the upcoming pages isn't it... Well, time to find a bucket for when I can't hold all my FEELS anymore...
