It's strange that in one story I can feel sad for Gaster and hope that he is alive somewhere and yet in another story *cough* handplates *cough* I can wish for his death over and over and over!

It is rather amazing how artists can have such different interpretations of Gaster! Be it father, brother, kind, or evil. Each version is so different and unique. 
Personally for handplates.... I dunno. I hate him a lot for everything he's done. BUT he wasn't always evil. He's also been shown to have moments where he truly cares. He wanted to fix Sans' eye, even though that didn't work out

Of my God.... I first started crying when Gaster screamed "Let MY SON go!" Ow, my heart. But than he was absorbed(? Is this the right word?) by the machine and I could imagine Sans calling out in a small voice, like he was a child again "Dad?" I can't take it! It hurts my very soul! ....If anyone needs me I am sobbing in the corner.
