Phew, just a smidge late, but you can see why XDD This page took foreeeeeeevvvveerrrr.

But I ADORE how it came out X3

I've been trying to work harder on backgrounds lately, as you might've noticed lol I actually found a way to do lineless backgrounds pretty easily, and doing so gives it more of a realistic look, as well as gives me the freedom to use more of a "painting" approach when coloring it, which turns out nicely

Obviously this won't be the coloring style for all the pages XDD This is the type of coloring I will only use on cover pages since they're special lol Even that first page of the SS Prelude is a little more detailed than I want to color things, but as long as I get it done in time, then who cares right? XP

Now, about the page:

Funnily enough, there has never really been a true cover page for the first chapter of Lunar Crisis. Don't ask me why, cuz I dunno XD So, I did this one based on what happens in the first chap. Sorta. The hardest part of making these early cover pages is that I can't do too much or it'll reveal spoilers. So I'm kinda limited to what characters I can show, and what they're doing, etc.

I especially like how the perspective came out on this page ^^ It's a little warped, but I did that on purpose, but other than that, I believe it's pretty accurate.

My absolute favorite though is the GRASS I didn't mean for it to turn out that well XDD *rolls around in it*

If you haven't noticed, I've been making EVERY comic page so far available as a print ^^ I will continue to do this just in case anyone happens to want a print of a page they particularly like I even do the pages in high-res, poster size files that are practically made for printing XP If you've noticed, my pages are a lot taller than they used to be, since I'm using the equivalent of A3 size paper
