Description
This is a moment from the game Resident Evil 2. This was an awesome moment in the game when you played as Claire. That was cool when you tried to get past Mr.X in that small room to just get in the hallway and have him come bursting through the wall.I like drawing moments from a game. Fans can see this image and say, "Hey, I remember that.". This is normally why I don't draw stuff from games until I play them.
This was hand drawn, but I used the inked drawing as a guide to color on my computer. This was the first time I was going for the real 3D sort of feel.
This was published in PSM Dec. '04 and won the Best Fandom in Jan. '05. I got a KILLER prize pack for that win.

Having a T-103 do that is scary, but T-104 from Outbreak: File 2 dropping from a helicoptor & prepering to kick the shit out of you is a lot worse...why? Coz he's got face spikes, a purple mack & he's twice as fast!

I always liked this scene, because it was just so frustrating the first time. I didn't know that you could just run out of the room. I didn't have to fight him there.
I saw him come in. I shot him with grenade rounds and got out of the room. I turned those corners and then he came bursting out. I shot him more again.
Only later did I learn that it's best to just run around him. If you time it right you can just run around him an not get hit.

Kinda like Nemesis, you're always running from him & you rarely stand a chance, but you kick his ass in a proper fight.

That is until your second round in Nemesis and you have the railgun. They you can take him out all the time.

I think Nemesis is more advanced. Mr.X didn't have the whole hentai tentacle thing going on that could infect people. Mr.X is still in the Tyrant model.

That part scared the hell out of me. Especially since it's a small narrow hallway(as in that I can't just walk past Mr.X and his bulky form).
You did a wonderful job on the coloring, the 3D effects, and the style. It really makes you feel like you're right next Claire and the oncoming Mr.X.

When I played this scene I was more pissed, because I spent a lot of gernade launcher ammo on him to get out of that room. That was before I knew you could just run past him.
