Commission: Adventure Time

This is a commission that I was hired to make by , using two original characters Rune Blaze (right) and Jessica Sin (left). This was a fun commission to draw. I was given free reign to make this little lovers make out session as hot as I wanted, but didn't want to go too far.

This was drawn completely digitally. I started with a rather small and simple blue like sketch, blew that up to about 600 DPI, and used the sketch as a guide for the black line work. Naturally, only Stardust00 has access to the full sized image. I'm really enjoying working all digital. If something needs a little adjusting, you don't need to do a lot of erasing.

One of my favorite touches is crosshatch shading for Rune's hair. I made that by creating a new layer under the lines. I just went wild with the black lines, reduced the opacity to about 30-50%, erased what I didn't need, and brought the opacity back up to 100%. I was originally going to leave the straps on her pants blank, but I thought they'd look better with some texture.
