Description
Code Geass - Bad Call[Episode- R2 05]
Here is the latest Code Geass 4koma. This one is inspired by the events of the end of the fifth episode. Sorry to say you really don't get the full impact of this unless you see the episode. It's still pretty funny. Sorry, no fan service on this one. I'll post some Spoilers an explanation of the scene for those who would like it below.
The background was the most complicated thing to make on this one. It's roughly the same background from the original scene.
The back lit look can be a little odd if you aren't used to it, but it matches the night time scene
I look forward to reading your thoughts and comments.
SPOILER:
In this scene Suzaku is trying to test to see if Lelouch has finally gotten his memories back, after they were removed and remade at the end of the first season. He does have them back, but is pretending to be the part he was given so his beloved little sister, who was taken, will be safe.
In the episode Suzaku handed Lelouch the phone and it's his sister Nunnally; who he's not suppose to remember, but she knows him. Lelouch will be forced to deny knowing his own sister in order to protect her. It's a lowly disgusting trap Suzaku uses.
What makes it even more nasty is that Nunnally is not only unable to walk, but she's also blind.

Best not to put anything too embarrassing on speed dial.

Seriously. Just, quit being so awesome. They seem to get better and better with each one I look at. I love how you start off with these serious scenes (like the one where Suzaku was meeting Lelouch alone at the shrine) and Suzaku has this really intense look on his face. And then it goes on to...well, man on man action and whatnot.

Well, it isn't uncommon that artists improve as they keep drawing.
It's all part of the fun to take a serious scene and put a weird twist at the end.

Yup. Well, I meant more your lines were funnier, I think that just varies from subject to subject, topic to topic. Glad you are happy with your progress, though.

That would of been a little silly. Too much for such a dramatic scene.

Amazing job.

Yeh it's stuff like this that made me turn against Suzaku. In R1 I liked his goody-goody ethics in contrast to Zero's more morally grey approach, but in R2 he was just a dick. lol

As cool as Suzaku is I still have a sneaking suspicion hes gay. That was pretty messed up, I really felt fo Lelouch, that he would have to deny the one person he lived to protect.

I only made it a guy on guy phone line, because I though it would be more shocking. Thus making it more funny.

XD I love these. I've seen a few of your other Code Geass 4koma (looking through your gallery of these not finished yet, so far ive seen three) and they're really good. This one so far made me lol the most. Yea, I've seen both seasons and it would help others with understanding these, but I'm sure some of these are still funny even without a basic knowledge of the show.
so yea, great job

Knowing the episodes they are based upon does really help with the jokes. It's adds another layer to the events.

Thanks. I really enjoyed that joke. Only real reason I made it a man on man phone line is because I thought that would be more shocking. That way it would be more funny.

I really do love these things and I'm sure I'm not the first to beg you to do more. There really are no good Code Geass funnies out there, save for yours that is. And ever since its debute in america last year, its been my favorite anime. Which is strange because other than CG, I refuse to watch mecha anime. Hm. But I have to say, it really stole my .
