Code Geass - Geass Fighter II[Episode- R2 16]
This episode was a bit of a challenge. It wasn't for a lack of ideas. Mostly I had a few ideas. It was some weren't right for THIS episode, I wanted to save an idea for later, or the possible punchlines weren't that good.
I felt I had to play off that awesome smack down scene with Kallen.
I had two punchlines for this same scene. I wasn't sure which to make so I just thought, "Let's make both.". See the next 4koma I'll be posting for that joke.
I wanted to imitate a win scene from a Street Fighter II game. Those fans of the classic fighters will notice Kallen in Chun Li's classic victory pose. That was all on purpose.
I know in the comic you only see Kallen hit Suzaku three times, but in the anime she hit his seven times. That's why I call it a "7 Hit Super Combo".

You know, I saw your second (or was it the first?) idea for this particular scene, and thought I had seen this somewhere before.
And I found it, someone has made a complete video of the sequence in Beat 'em Up style, health bars, hit counter and background music included.

Hahah, but you have an actual victory animation stance in your sketch, whereas that video has mostly superposed audio, and the altered scene from the anime. I prefer yours.
