Code Geass - Release[Episode - R2 23]
I'm sure a lot of people have been waiting for the next Code Geass R2 4koma. Lord knows I get asked enough if I'm going to keep making more of these.
This is the second one based upon episode 23 in the second season. I really hated Gino. He was the most pointless character in the entire series that didn't influence anything at any point. I don't think he even ever learned that Lelouch was Zero. On top of that, people kept trying to pair him off with Kallen just because they had one conversation while she was in prison.
I really wish Suzaku had just killed him the way he did the other Knights. This is something I wish Kallen had done in this scene.
I like how the color work came out in this image. My favorite touch was blurring the Tristan in the foreground. It really helped to sell the depth.

Nicely done! I didn't hate Gino, but I agree with your assessment that he didn't do much beyond a few battles here and there and even then he was usually paired up with one of the other knights (he basically just got sucked up in events WAY beyond him XD). I can't even recall what became of him at the end of the series, but he probably would have had more impact if he'd died fighting Suzaku or Kallen.

I kinda feel sorry for Gino. I mean...basicly he's lost a good amount of the people he knew and worked with in that war.
Knights 1, 4, 10, 12 are confirmed dead.
Anya (6) was geassed wiped and is now living with Orange and doesn't really remember her early life.
Suzaku (7) is Zero and can't reveal who he really is, which basicly makes him dead.
The only KotR we don't know about is 9...which is kinda annoying as she was kinda hyped up in the Lost Color's game and she doesn't appear in the anime at all >.>
The 4Koma is great. I can see Kallen putting boot to ass and sending Gino over the edge.

Gino never influenced a single thing. I don't think he was ever even told about Lelouch's being Zero. Remove him from the story and you lose nothing.

Nicely done. Heh...I like Gino, for some reason. He was badly developed and pretty useless, but I feel like he could have been a better character for some point.
Still, I laughed. Maybe that scene should have played out this way.

I totally agree with you, Gino is a pointless character created just for fangirls, just as Aya( even if they gave her a forced role in Marienne's storyline in the end ), just pure rubbish.

Most definitely. Those make the most sense too, because with the exception of the twist it's entirely true to the characters and story.

Gino is one of those characters that was introduced just to look cool. It's probably the same reason they kept Orange alive and made Sayoko a ninja.
Being a minimalist in terms of stories, I was waiting and WAITING for Gino to become relevant to the plot and it NEVER HAPPENED. He's some sort of bizarre red herring character.

LOL, so true. I like Gino a lil, but I don't understand how he possibly couldn've understood Kallen like that. I also agree with the odd pairing of them together just cuz of a few scenes

it took everyone long enough to work it out, Kellen even hears Suzaku say about how could he kill his own sister, and she still didn't conect the dots

Kallen never knew Euphy was Lelouch's sister until after he was revealed as Zero.

at the end of the first series Suzaku actualy said something about Euphy being Lelouch's sister in front of Kellen
