Code Geass - Release[Episode - R2 23]
I'm sure a lot of people have been waiting for the next Code Geass R2 4koma. Lord knows I get asked enough if I'm going to keep making more of these.
This is the second one based upon episode 23 in the second season. I really hated Gino. He was the most pointless character in the entire series that didn't influence anything at any point. I don't think he even ever learned that Lelouch was Zero. On top of that, people kept trying to pair him off with Kallen just because they had one conversation while she was in prison.
I really wish Suzaku had just killed him the way he did the other Knights. This is something I wish Kallen had done in this scene.
I like how the color work came out in this image. My favorite touch was blurring the Tristan in the foreground. It really helped to sell the depth.

That's a little too mean. I like to try and keep people pretty close to character. You will notice that a large amount of the time I keep Lelouch serious and he's my straight man for the jokes.

Actually, Kallen's love for Lelouch was confirmed in an interview with her Japanese voice actress and the series director.
As for Gino. I don't know. I just remember him saying how he wanted to see Suzaku smile like he was in the pictures. Gino thought the pictures were missing because they showed Kallen and Suzaku together and he didn't want people to know he was associated with a Black Knight.

Gino's purpose in Code Geass is to be picked on by Luciano Bradley and to pick on Suzaku for being too uptight. It's a dog eat dog world.
