Code Geass - Revival[Episode- R2 13]
Lot of people doubted I could find something funny about this more recent episode. It did have a rather depressing end. I got it done by Wednesday.
Well, point in fact that I had the idea for this one when I first watched the RAW version. I just needed to wait for the subtitles to get the dialog that I needed.
To set the scene. General Bartley is showing Cornelia around. V.V. shows up, but before he can finish talking she throws a dagger into his head, but he quickly revives.
I'm happy I came up with this idea. I really looked forward to drawing Cornelia with her sexy new look.
I noticed something last minute recently. It looks like Cornelia's left arm is strapped to her outfit. I'm not sure if she can move it at all just yet. I had to take that into account with this 4koma. I guess she hasn't completely healed yet.
The hardest part about drawing this one was just getting her expressions right. I was going for a confused/interested look. Like she's thinking, "Why wont he die?".
I almost didn't put Bartley into this comic. Last minute I decided to add him. Just seemed wrong to keep him out of this scene since he was there in the show. I just love how at the end he's tired of waiting.

That little side note of "where'd she get that" is perfect! I could totally imagine Cornellia actually trying to kill him multiple times. When I first saw the ep I was dying laughing that she didn't even give him time to say a word before offing him. I would have done the same thing in her shoes. I don't know this place or this random person coming up to me so it'd be better off to kill 'em. I also thought her knew look was sexy, I had liked her from the start when she almost outsmarted Lelouch.

That was hilarious. Now that I think about it, when I went to Otakon I never saw any Conellias around. The only ones I saw were C.C., Kallen, Lelouch in his casual wear, Zero outfit, and his emperor outfit, and one Suzaku who I had to restrain myself from punching. I didn't see a Lloyd, a Jeremiah, a Villet, nor a Li Xingke, all of which were really cool characters. I even saw an Anya! She played almost no role in the series! It was very irritating.

Must be, but then again her personality wasn't that bad. At least she wasn't as bland as Suzaku. Guess some people just don't realize how cool she really is. He role a P.E. teacher should have been enough to get her a cosplay SOMEWHERE. You'd think a con as big as Otakon would be the place to see one.

I don't believe there was ever anything written about Cornelia renouncing her claim to the throne. That was Lelouch as a child that did that.
