Code Geass - That Dress[Episode - R2 04]
I've been looking forward to coloring this 4koma for a while. I was really looking forward to the sunset setting and the angles. I felt like I had to do the "Oh, Lordy" 4koma first since that was set before this. Since this events is more set somewhere between episodes four and five.
I'm really pleased with this one. I'm really loving this Photoshop. All the tools really help me work. I think I've gotten a handle on most of the basics. The backgrounds came out pretty well. I was apprehensive about that Chinese Embassy. For Kallen only having one line in this 4koma she really stands out in her expressions. I wanted to be sure she got the last word since this is Kallen getting to strike back for once.
Everyone feels really alive here. Knowing the scene I needed a crowd wandering around the courtyard. I like that one girl who catches a glimpse of that sign in the first panel. Also notice the four in the back of the last panel. I love how pissed Chiba looks.

here's how i think the 4 prisoners on the left at the very last panel thoughts go:
asahina(guy with glasses): "eh, y not? i'll go with the flow..."
tamaki (wolf whisling guy): "yeah! shake that money maker! woot!"
todou (the one who's totally confused): "y am i even doing this?"
chiba (pissed off chick): "STOP THAT!"

I was always confused as to whether that was actually Lelouch or just a stripper in a Zero mask. Additionally, are we supposed to assume that everyone thinks that's just Lelouch in a mask, or the actual Zero. Either way, he was never one to really go for Milly's party games, so how the hell did they get Lelouch into the cake when they had to tie him down just to put a cat costume on him?

Taking into account that this is Lelouch we're talking about... He probably agreed to do it because:
A) He thought his friends would just think it was a stripper in a Zero mask, and not actually him.
B) Because he loves wearing his suit, no matter how little he's wearing under it.
Was it not Teen Titan's Robin who once said, "You know... The mask makes me feel cool, too."
And was it not Batman who said, "Chicks dig the cape."
So there you go, two highly ranked classic superheroes with direct citings to support my A and B.
