Code Geass - Where's Kallen[Episode- R2 20]
I got to say that I was a bit disappointed in episode 20. Kallen is my favorite character in the series. I had to put up with her in prison for weeks. Yes, she got out and had two good episodes with some nice dramatic scenes, but in episode 20 she had one speaking line. Later in the episode they show big group meetings of everyone, but Kallen. Where was she?
I decided to play off the event of C.C. going back to get Cheese-kun, and explain where Kallen could of been.
She walks in on Kallen wearing her dress. Before she leaves there is NO WAY she can't get in one last tease.
I know C.C. wears white shorty shorts while in that dress. What Kallen has on is just her panties under the dress.
I have her here in Lelouch's room. Upset how she couldn't protect Lelouch, the Black Knights wont listen to her, and she can't even find C.C. Lelouch in the episode did say how he was trusting C.C. to Kallen's care.
Sucks we never got to see Kallen interact with the young C.C. That could of been funny. I was really looking forward to it.
I get why Kallen didn't have a big role, but why not just show her in the meetings. Normally, a writer will remove a character from large meetings if there is something they are talknig about that the writer doesn't want that specific character to know, or know yet.
You may notice her hair style look different while she's wearing the dress. It's not spiked up, like normal, but it also isn't down. It's somewhere in between.
I saw her with this style in the first Code Geass R2 Picture Drama. I thought it looked really cute. It looks perfect for wearing that gown.
The drama is picking up so much it's getting frustrating waiting a week for each episode. Normally around this time I would stop watching till the season is over. That way I could just watch the finale in one clump. I did that with season one.
I have these 4komas to work on though. I said I'd do them weekly. This is a test of my skill and speed.

Anya. That's funny. Out of most of the cast she has the most normal of names.
Anya is possessed by the mind of Lelouch's mother. Seems Marianne's Geass allowed her to implant her mind into other people.

Kallen's my favourite character too- I'm hoping they didn't show her much in this episode because she'll play a more active role in the next? I doubt it, but one can only hope. Maybe she'll support Lelouch in his fight against the emperor somehow.

I think that hairstyle suits her too- it merges her brutal, merciless terrorist side and her kinder, more passive one.

Well, right now they had to fill the episode with information. Lot of things are going to get summed up in the next one about Marianne.
I think Lelouch will become the Emperor and the last few episodes will be against Schneizel.

May I suggest Lelouch and the Emperor playing "Go Fish" or "Old Maid". As to why, well what else are you supposed to do when you stranded in the middle of nowhere, you play cards.

Is it me, or did they jam pack a bunch of stuff happening in this episode? Like fifteen and a half times more than usual?

This was rather heavy in information. I guess, because it seems like they are going to answer the biggest mystery of the series next episode, The Death of Marianne. If this is being answered with five episodes to go it makes you wonder what they are going to do with the final four after that.

It looks like Marianne's Geass is being able to inhabit other people's bodies.
As for endings, I'm going to jinx the very lousy and most likely outcome that there will be a finale with a dozen plot twists in the last ten minutes and no resolution.

I also love all the expressions, particularly CC's (though Kallen in panel four is really great too).
I really hope at least Kallen gets a happy ending. She's one of the only characters left alive who hasn't made a complete as of herself.

Took me awhile to understand the perspective for the 2nd-4th frames (a mirror. DOH!). Kallen actually looks really good with her hair like that...
Lelouch and C.C. have to meet again, though. Reason 1: they're gonna have to tell us her name somehow. I mean, we've been in the dark about it since a drop of water ruined our chance in the middle of the first season.
Reason 2: We need to find why C.C. consciously decided NOT to die earlier. She <3 Lelouch...?

That might be what Kallen thought of C.C. before.
I thougth it would be funnier to show C.C. noticing Kallen before she popped up at the end. It showed that Kallen was in her own little world.
Well she forgot most of her life before. She's implying that even if she was to lose her memory again there is no way she would forget something so embarrassing for Kallen.
Like if one of your friends walked in on you doing something you'd hope they would forget.

Actually there was a chart published about the female characters and theory breast sizes. Kallen ranked number 3, under Milly and Marianne. C.C. was ranked number 10, I believe. Kallen is also 18 now. C.C. still has the body of a 16yo.
