I'm still in kind of a mood this week. Got to say it sure is making me productive. More time I'm working the less I am thinking about other matters.On a separate matter. I kind of rushed this picture though. I was concerned that if Code Geass end sucks I would lose the mood to even make this picture and the idea was just too good to pass up.
As I said in my journal I talked about how I'm not watching the last three episodes of Code Geass. Not until the series ends and I will watch them all together.
To give me something else to watch I tried watching the anime Strike Witches. It's pretty good. It's kind of a loli fan service series, but all the little details they put in of WWII history makes up for that.
I was watching the series and I got the inspiration for this image. It all kind of fell together. This is sort of a what if image. Mixing Strike Witches and Code Geass.
In Strike Witches there is a country called Britannia, like with Code Geass; one girl has a magical glowing eye, the girls are witches, C.C. is considered a witch; and Kallen's VA(Voice Acctress) does the voice of one of the girls in Strike Witches.
Oddly enough the details that took up the most time was coloring in those Strike Units (Strike Witches flight gear, brooms) the girls wear on their legs. Not to mention designing them to be similar to the KMFs (Knightmare Frames. Code Geass mechs).
You may as that if I haven't see the most recent episodes how do I know that C.C. has a pink Lancelot and that shield. Answer, I checked the Code Geass official website for those details.
I almost had this image revered with Kallen upright and the sea at the top of the image. It just felt more dynamic to have Kallen upside down.
You have no idea how close I cam to adding a Luluko (Code Geass joke) to this image. I didn't want the picture crowded.

Well, I'm not sure how clever is all is really. The girls in Strike Witches wear plan like gears on their legs that mimic their countries planes. It only fit to make these after the KMFs.

If you were to add Luluko, where would she go/what would her weapon be? Lelouch's actual strength is almost nill (All his power stats went to increasing his intelligence, imo), and he controls his mech using a keyboard... -.-

The keyboard thing wouldn't be that big a deal. All they have to do is wear them. I could of made Luluko rather small. It just didn't seem worth it.

Is it just me or does it look like Kallen's panties have been tugged down; to me the scene looks like C.C. pulled down Kallen's panties and is now giggling as Kallen goes out of control to try and tug them up.

Yes! THIS! You're freaking awesome. A mixture of the two of few great series this season. I especially like how you did their striker units to match the knightmares they ride in. Definitely a favorite for me. I'm curious though, what kinda animal did you use for C.C.? xD

It was fun. Make sure you watch the OVA as well, it's very short but worth watching.

That would explain why only the legs are fully armored and the ears.
I was kinda expecting the girls in Kightmare Frame Armor like some of the Gundam (and even Transformer) fanarts.

The girls wear Strike Units to fly. Like planes they wear on their legs. When they go flying, or use their magic, they seem to form animal ears and tails.
I just modeled their Strike Units after the KMFs.
