(lol I spent an hour to paint the perfect frost pattern and settled on a flower spread brush with the blur set 50% *weeps*)I love Pitch even though I don't know jack about him! Can't wait for the movie on the 28th!
...I'm getting worried though since the critics are giving it a low rating... Either I want to shoot people or to kill people, help me pick...
I JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN, OKAY?!
But I'm an animator and it's what I usually feel (murderous)... must be an animator thing especially when an animated piece doesn't get the amount of attention and praise it deserves.

Don't worry, I loved Rise of the Guardians (I'm 18) and it's one of my fave movies. I never pay attention to the critics as I almost always disagree with them.

Im not saying its horrible. I love it and its one of my favorite movies. I even posted a video on my youtube channel called Are Animated films Discriminated? I take all film serious but there are some ( like Rise of the Guardians) where th eproblems don't take away from my enjoyment of the film. Film itself is an illusion, and the trick is to keep your audience submerged in said illusion. RotG managed to kewp me immersed in the story because its problems were not obvious. In fact the only way i noticed the problems (ex. Jack being able to carry sophie from Warren when she doesnt believe in him) was by re watching the film multiple times. Im not like most film critics. I acrually look at animated films as art, as they should be viewed.

Im a film critic and i totally see that rotg has its problems, but dammit the move is so much fun, i find i really could care less. The characters are actually funny, well voiced, and the threat of pitch actually makes you realize just what is at stake here. Great film, and one of my favorites

The main reason I don't listen to film critics is because a lot of the ones I am exposed to often don't takes films like this seriously and just say generic things instead of saying what they actually think. Yeah, I see the problems but its such an incredible idea and a wonderful film that it should be forgiven for its small hiccups.

I just say the movie today and it is without a doubt one of the best movies I have ever seen. The animation was crisp (ignore the pun), the characters were well developed and the story itself brilliantly carried through from start to finish.

the critics are what now? trust me the movie was amazing, the visuals were fantastic, and the story was pretty good, it was a bit predictable but it was still really good

honestly, the critics were right. The visual effects were AMAZING!, but the storytelling was meh. But personally, I loved it! Can't always listen to the critics I suppose
