We didn't get enough feedback on what Sombra was like in the past, so our knowledge about him is very foggy. As far as we can tell, Sombra was just there being evil, and that was it. The writer's didn't give us much information about him.

The eye Pinkie has in the first panel is very Pinkie Pie indeed. And dat goofy Discord smile is adorable.
And yes, Pinkie has potentially won herself a dream come true with Discord on Equestria's side. Now she can have chocolate rain and cotton candy clouds if she can convince him.

Pinkie in P1 looks fantastic, I can't quite put my finger hoof on why that one character is particularly appealing... The rest of them are great too of course.

Personally I think that this works better than the previous one. The colour pallete of the whole comic is more harmonious (though part of that is due to Dashie's colours being as they are) and the filter effect is more apparent in the background rather than over the characters (which is what I wasn't too keen on beforehand).
I will have panel 1 Pinkie and she will be mine, and she will be my Pinkie.
Pinkie, if you promise not to use your element against me you can have all the chocolate rain and cotton candy clouds you want.
