VooDoo happened, he stole her soul. Because she is a dark matter being (mothers side) they can't live without a soul for long, so when she was born she had no soul. Kayne stole VooDoo's soul and have it to flutter. Her mother hated Kayne for taking his soul. (That is why they are not together) so VooDoo got revenge and she died.
