Hey, your posters are nice, but the blur is too strong, which make it look like it's toys people we zoomed in. The guns should'be in the left (their right), except if they are left armed.

There are some instances that very strong blue looks good but I agree with you that this is not one of them. I could have done a much better job with this piece.

I don't know why, but I really like how scout troopers look with that pauldron. I wonder how they'd look with an ARC Trooper setup (Kama and Pauldron)
