Description

  Lilypetal took deep breaths, smiling down at her kits.

  "Welcome to the world, little ones," She whispered, licking one of her daughters.

  Two of her kits had their father's red pelt, one was a dusty brown, and the other a tanish gold like herself.

  She nuzzled the gold kit between her paws, but noticed her kit wasn't moving. She pressed her muzzle to the kit again, pushing her, trying to encourage her to breath.

The kit still didn't move, her small frame motionless.

Panic swept through the queen as she licked desperately at her daughter's back. She couldn't be gone; she had just come! Mother Moon couldn't take her!

She turned as Applestar's familiar frame pushed into the nursery, her eyes wide and grief radiating off her body.

"She's not breathing!" She cried over her kits' frightened mewls. "Applestar, she's not breathing!"

Poor Marigoldkit. I regret drawing this.
So yey! Lilypetal had her kits! However, Marigoldkit didn't survive due to complications at birth. I'll be posting the designs for the surviving kits Songkit, Dustykit, and Redkit at another time!
