its sad how casper died...
his father got him a new sled...so he went outside to play on it..
he was having too much fun...so.....so when his father called him if for dinner he stayed outside
it got late, got cold, got dark, and then he got sick...
and died......of hypothermia

I think the boots add that touch of character to Kat very subtly and the expression of casper's face helps create teh scenario based of their relationship. It's a very nice piece ^_^
