im so confused, neither of the file packs linked on sourceforge.net have .asc files in them! one is .c and the other is something else that's not an .asc =[

I've tried both of the scry julian scripts and get a error msg when I try to run the script.
"Unknown identifier or variable is not declared "calculate colors" source position 64,18"
I've got the SCRY plugin installed.

You need the scry plugin, theres a link in the artists comments and *CabinTom did a tutorial on how to install them.

I've made some fantastic flames with this script but they don't render well for some reason. I've both tried the new Beta and the 3D hack and they look nothing like the picture in apophysis for some reason (they all look the same, very generic, hard to describe). Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I think it's your quality dear. When you render try to render at 2000 quality or higher. Do you have any samples that you can upload to your scraps with the parameters in the artists comments? Or can you note me the parameters so I can make sure everything's okay?
Try the quality thing first, if it doesn't work out then send me a note
