Well, I have it installed and have been playing around with it.  One of the artists I watch is so exceptional with Jux and I just found out he has some tutorials at youtube and he sent me a link in a comment.  So I decided to subscribe to his channel.  I also just got MB3D again and hope to get into that too.  So it will be a very interesting journey of discovery.  Thanks, I appreciate it!

Good for you.  I just send you the pm files off this particular fractal   Hope you like it and you can have some fun with it.

I saw that in my messages. I will hopefully figure that out.  Sort of hectic right now but I will keep the message as well so I can go back to it.  I appreciate your generosity!

Take it easy girl, make you sure your health stays reasonably steady, all other things can wait
Have a great weekend.    And any other one you'd like just let me know.  With pleasure

Oh, I will definitely take care of my health.  If we don't have that we are in deep yogurt!  Thanks I may take you up on that, in time!  I actually have an mages from Jux that I did here.  I find that if I don't use the programs I have that I end up forgetting how to use them.  Of course I didn't stick with it long enough to  learn it.  I do love this image.  I think the laptop I had this one died an untimely death and as usual, I seem to gravitate back to Jwildfire.  But I want to learn a couple of programs and will take the time and do so and slow down on the jwildfire for a while.

True, I got the same.  Addicted to Jwildfire, and Jux,  but I also like incendia and Apo and,... and....  I just don't have the time. Amd like you said I need at least a day or two to figure it out again.  Once I do, I stay with that software.  For example, I still got about 3000 pm.files allready pre-made and need just some adjustments.... and I'm working with them now, but instead off less, they become more and more    Fractals are always growing.

The newest version of Jux  is  xenodream.com/jux.htm   2.4    You made some really nice fractals. I'm sure you like the new version even more.
And I'm gonna stop Jux for a while and go on with JWildfire/Incendia

Ok girl, take care off yourself.  You're right about health. I'm in the white-coat carrousel myself again and getting rather tired off it.     Thank God for fractals and most off all nature to recharge the battery

I used Apophysis from 2005 until 2013 and loved it. But I had trouble with the plugins and variations and I just gave up on it, especially after it was not being updated any longer.  I still miss it.

I have never been able to figure out Incendia either.  It is so complex to me and I love the kind of images it makes.  I downloaded the new version and installed it.  Thanks.  One of these days I hope to be able to purchase a license to be able to render large.

If you want any jwildfire parameter files to start from, I have a lot and would be happy to share them with you!

Yes, fractals are how I relax too!  Nature most definitely soothes the savage beast!

Very kind off you Lea, but I have thousands of Apo/Jwildfire, Chaotica and other parameterfiles.  I got so many rendered and done, but never published for that is my least interested part. But thanks anyway

I agree that Incendia isn't easy, but still you figure it out I'm sure off it.  The only think I didn't like is the size of the pictures, always in a square.  You have to taken that in account so you can make cut out yourself.  But I love it too.   Too much interests and never enough time, even if I would live another 100 years You can open your Apo files in Jwildfire to play with?  Ever tried?

And:  "Yes, fractals are how I relax too!  Nature most definitely soothes the savage beast!"
Couldn't agree more.

Okay on the par files. I have some that go clear back to 2005 when I first started using Apo.  I do open apo files in jwf all the time.  Once I tried using Apo on the same machine as jwf and I could open the apo files in jwf but for some reason after I saved them as jwf files those same files would not open again in Apo.  I never really understood why because several people told me they could reopen theirs back in apo.  So who knows?

I wouldn't like to be restricted to square only format.  I like the width x length format most but sometimes I like to do the length first and so it is taller vertically and less wide horizontally.  I actually have a few flames to render square,  saved.  Worked on them last night as a matter of fact.

It will probably be a while before I even install Incendia.  I have Jux, MB3D and Mandelbulber newly installed and don't want to overwhelm my brain!

Sorry for the late reply, time just goes to fast
I will try it myself again how I'd manage to open them in the 2 different programs if I get it right I will let you know   And I agree with you that it is better to be able to change the size.  If I work with it I'll keep it in mind and make it in a way I can make a cut out. I really like to use it again, Incendia is also renewed, so I'm curious  But like you, my mind get overheated with fractal thinking    You got three programs now, and I think it is wise not to expand that to even more software.

Have a nice weekend Lea,
